However, what is more important is knowing how to run a successful affiliate program so it becomes a powerful marketing tool and a profitable one. If you do not pay your affiliates on time and in the correct amounts, then you are not going to motivate them to try their hardest for you. There is an old saying that says never mess with a person's pay and this is a good rule to remember at all times.

Providing a monetary award above and beyond their initial pay for their services will motivate your affiliates to try even harder to sell your products. You can also offer an awards program for affiliates that recruit other affiliates, possibly making a tiered program and making the incentives worthwhile for them to recruit hard.
