Hello, my name is Sylvia and I have been a Graphic Designer since 1990. I have been an Art Director and manager for a variety of different companies over the years, so I understand how to communicate with clients and to work with others to meet deadlines and to achieve goals. I have been actively involved in the print industries for most of my career. I have had designs printed on almost every material in the print industry, from t-shirts to lexan, business cards to P.O.P.s, banners to snowboards. Now I have shifted all of my attention on to web graphics, advertising, and Internet marketing.
I have a wide range of skills and knowledge that I have required over the years that makes me different than other designers. I am not just a designer. I have experience in sales and marketing too. My experiences from working for a magazine, a sign company, a label company and several screen printers, and for myself as a freelance artist and designer, has given me a deep understanding of the purpose of graphic design. A good graphic designer understands that we are all in business to make a profit and to stand out from the competition. A good graphic designer understands the importance of high quality designs combined with good marketing and its impact on a company's ability to communicate clearly and affectively, so they can make the sell and increase their base.
